MathWonders began in 2004 as a tutoring service to help instill in kids (pre-K through Middle School) a sense of wonder about the mathematical world around us. Math is born of a timeless desire to understand and predict patterns in nature, such as the orbit around the sun, the relationship between shadows and time, and estimating the size of our planet. Much of our understanding of the universe is built on time, circles, and measurements that are based on 12 or 60, while our modern world is often expressed in multiples of 10 or 100.
